What is a Webcast?
A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras capture the live information and send it to a central server, which in turn sends it to anyone that would like to view the event. Through the use of your internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Windows Media free player you can view the events live from school, home, office or Internet cafe.Should you miss an event, or would like to view a section of the event again, then you can view the archive of the webcast.
